We usually have three or four book sales each year.  Next on the schedule:

May 31st - June 3rd
followed by another one on
September 6th - 9th

Scanners are never allowed on the first day of a book sale.

Between book sales there is always a great selection of books for sale in our bookstore and in the lobby!

Good books and great prices! You will find the Friends Bookstore just to your left as you enter the lobby of the library. We carry a large variety of gently used books, videos, DVDs, CDs, audiobooks, etc., at bargain prices.
Everything we sell is donated and all who work in the store are volunteers. The proceeds benefit our library in a myriad of ways—for instance, to fund programs, send staff to conferences, purchase books, supplies, and equipment. Our Friends supplement and enrich what the Fulton County budget provides. All contributions are tax deductible.

Scanners are not permitted in the bookstore.

Help spread the word! We are always looking for donations.

Books, both fiction and non-fiction, hardcover and paperback

  • Books on CD
  • Movies, DVD or video
  • Music, CD or vinyl
  • Magazines

But, please

  • No encyclopedias
  • No elderly business, technical, or text books

As for condition, be your own guide: would YOU buy it? If it is too torn and tatty for your house, it is too torn and tatty for ours. And, please, if you plan to recycle your books to another reader, do not listen to the decorator who tells you to take the dust jackets off the books; it is nearly impossible to sell a current book with no dust jacket.
Donation bins are located in the lobby near the restrooms and tax receipts are available from the volunteer in the bookstore.
We are entirely dependent on you for what we have to sell. We thank you for being so generous!
