2008 SUMMER PROGRAMS

The Friends are pleased to co-sponsor many of the programs held at the Roswell Library. This year, we have donated hundreds of paperback books for the Catch the Reading Bug program for preschool and elementary school-age children. Each child who registers for the Summer Reading Program and completes (reads or listens to) 10 books gets to select a brand new book to take home, courtesy of the Friends. We are getting reports from staff and patrons that this has been very popular with the kids!

We also provide snacks and other supplies for many of the library programs, as well as pay for special performers. For a complete listing of programs and for information about the Teen and Children's Summer Reading Clubs, visit the Library Programs web page by clicking here.
